Conference Themes
Inspired by our host institution, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and their active engagement with the hospitality and entertainment industries, the ACTAL 2026 Conference will have two overarching themed days, with programming tailored to address these themes.
- Hospitality + Behind the Scenes: Our first day of conference programming will touch on ideas of hospitality and behind the scenes in which our presenters will engage with questions of welcoming users into our spaces, engaging users meaningfully, and the behind the scenes work that makes our day-to-day operations possible.
- Art + Exhibition: Our second day of conference programming will touch on what is made inside our spaces or utilizing our services. Presenters will discuss the work that makes the creation and exhibition of items possible and address how we share this work meaningfully.

- Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, NV is the closest airport.
Hotels
- We do not have a hotel block for ACTAL this year. We recommend the following hotels, both walkable to UNLV Library.
